There will be a brief 10 minute talk (no slides!) - our very own Jessie Shipman, Founder of Fluincy (and organizer of this Meetup!) will be sharing with us on the topic: 2 feet in. Barely hanging on. What the first year as a first time founder is actually like.

Then we'll follow with food, drink, and good company.

We'll be at Code Talent on Blake Street. They'll provide complimentary beverages, and there's a number of food options in the area.

AND... The Block Distilling Co. will be there sampling gin and tonics and their four year old bourbon! They make every damn drop of spirit in house. From seasonal gins, to a collaborative coffee liqueur, to three different whiskies. They focus on building community around great spirits. From punks, politicians, pole dancers, and priests, a good drink does not discriminate.

The meetup is designed to be lightweight on purpose.

The Leadership Meetup is open to folks in any industry (although we've tended to be tech-heavy) and is intended to be a place to come and talk about your frustrations, challenges, successes, and questions as a leader.
