JAMstack Denver Meetup: Remote

Fully Remote :: Svelte & Sapper w/ Leta Keane + AWS Lambdas w/ Nathaniel Foster

RSVP on Meetup

Details

!important: this meetup will be remote, details soon on how to tune in!

Do you get excited about trending technologies that have the power to change the world? Do you like to tune into engaging and hilarious presentations about technical topics and tools? April's meetup will feature Leta Keane speaking on the combined powers of Svelte and Sapper, and Nathaniel Foster will be sharing his knowledge around serverless AWS Lambda functions. It's gonna be a great evening; both presenters are former educators so even if you don't have the technical experience around frontend frameworks and serverless computing, don't fret - you will walk away having learned something and made some friends :) Pizza, beer and salads will be provided by our great sponsors, we can't wait to see you there.

This JAMstack Denver will be hosted remotely. Please stay tuned for additional details. Can't make it this month? No worries, we're streaming live to Twitch and YouTube!

Please read our Code of Conduct.

What we're about

Modern web development architecture based on client-side JavaScript, reusable APIs, and prebuilt Markup.

The JAMstack is not about specific technologies. It’s a new way of building websites and apps that delivers better performance, higher security, lower cost of scaling, and a better developer experience. No rendering means greatly reduced attack surface area for malware, ultra fast hosting on CDN, no debugging php or optimising rendertimes, and a super cheap way to scale your hosting.

JAMstack Denver is hosted at Code Talent. You can find us at 3412 Blake Street from 6ish to 8ish on the first Wednesdays of each month. Code Talent is located just a few blocks from the 38th and Blake RTD station.
