JAMstack Denver Meetup: *Remote*

Doug Whitney's "From Zero To Prod" && "Selling the Jamstack" with Dave Pernitz

RSVP on Meetup

Details

This month, Doug Whitney will be giving us a great dive into Gatsby with his talk "From Zero to Prod: Building a Documentation Website with GatsbyJS". He'll be teaching us how to generate a complete, production-ready website from a set of Markdown files with GatsbyJS. He'll give us a look at how to use Gatsby’s GraphQL API and filesystem plugin to build and customize a content-driven website that provides a great experience for developers, content authors, and end users.

More info coming soon on Dave Pernitz' talk "Selling the Jamstack"!

Please stay tuned for additional details. Can't make it this month? No worries, we're streaming live to Twitch and YouTube!

Please read our Code of Conduct.

What we're about

Modern web development architecture based on client-side JavaScript, reusable APIs, and prebuilt Markup.

The JAMstack is not about specific technologies. It’s a new way of building websites and apps that delivers better performance, higher security, lower cost of scaling, and a better developer experience. No rendering means greatly reduced attack surface area for malware, ultra fast hosting on CDN, no debugging php or optimising rendertimes, and a super cheap way to scale your hosting.

JAMstack Denver is hosted at Code Talent. You can find us at 3412 Blake Street from 6ish to 8ish on the first Wednesdays of each month. Code Talent is located just a few blocks from the 38th and Blake RTD station.
