Denver Startup Week 2016 is now open for submissions. This year, the event will take place from Monday, September 12 to Friday, September 16. The week celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit, and embodies many of Denver's goals when it comes to being a leader in the digital economy.
Sessions are given 90 minute time slots, and are typically either individual presentations, group presentations, panels, workshops, or social events. The most popular sessions are focused on transferring knowledge to the community; the more unique and new your idea, the better chance you have of being picked. The submissions that are typically picked embody Denver Startup Week goals, provide value to the community, and promote the local community.
The organization values community involvement, and encourages this by allowing the public to vote and comment on submissions. When crafting the schedule for the week, the organizing committee will use the communities votes and comments to guide their final decision.
If you have an idea for a session at Denver Startup Week, we encourage you to submit it. Denver Startup Week will work with accepted submissions to arrange logistics, so don't worry if you don't have a venue.
Submissions are accepted through June 15 and voting will last from June 20 until July 1. The final schedule will be announced mid-July.
