The Colorado Tech Tour begins today, August 1st, and runs until the 5th. The week-long series of conferences, programs, and events, is hosted by the Colorado Technology Association and celebrates Colorado's growing technology economy at sites throughout the state.
The Colorado Tech Association recognizes that Colorado is becoming an internationally renowned tech hub, and wants to celebrate and fuel that success. The week is meant to showcase companies and innovation that is causing the country to look at Colorado as a leader in the technology market. The tech community state-wide is encouraged to host an event or tell their story of how Colorado has helped grow their business.
Governor John Hickenlooper is in full support of the celebration, and said that technology has been a main driver of Colorado's economic success, and will increasingly continue to do so. He wants to continue getting the state recognition for our success:
Tech Week is a catalyst for showcasing the real impact of technology in our lives, and in helping make Colorado one of the nation’s premier technology-inspired hubs.
