The voting starts now for Denver Startup Week sessions.
From now until July 15, the community of Denver is able to vote on which sessions they want to see this year at Denver Startup Week, September 12-16. This year, there were a record 944 sessions proposed to the community, by the community. The organization was blown away by the strong engagement they saw:
"This level of community engagement and support is proof positive that downtown Denver is the place to start and grow a business," said Co-founder of Denver Startup week and the Executive Director of University of Denver's Project-XITE, Erik Mitisek.
Since community is one of the main values of Denver Startup Week, go vote! Your vote will be taken into consideration when the organizers are creating the final schedule, and bring you that much closer to attending the sessions you want to see.
Denver Startup Week is a full week of events and programs showcasing Denver's entrepreneur community in tech, design, business and manufacturing. It celebrates the city's entrepreneurial spirit and showcases Denver as an emerging leader in the digital economy.
Additionally, Denver Startup Week is powered by the Denver community for entrepreneurs nationwide. Community members both submit their own session ideas and vote on those they want to attend during the week. Last year over 10,000 people attended for 235 free sessions throughout downtown.
